I absolutely love the 7″ touchscreen, but I cannot seem to get the alarm into STAY mode from the 7TS. The button does not work.
My keypad allows me to put in my code and select STAY, but the 7TS does not.
August 5, 2024 at 12:27 pm #8254Brad WeeksFor the User Code you entered in the 7TS setup in the ElkRP2 setup make sure Arm, Disarm, Area 1 is checked and Access, Temporary Code and Duress Are not checked. Also under Areas and Area 1 do you have Single or Double Quick Arm checked?
August 6, 2024 at 10:48 am #8261Tim StoinskiThat must be where I’m missing something. My ELKRP software does not show the 7TS. I cannot find a download for ELKRP2, which I assume is a newer version. Can you help me make sure I have the latest software? I have version 2.0.41.
August 6, 2024 at 12:31 pm #8262Brad WeeksThe ELK 7TS is not a Bus Device and will not show up during a Bus Module Enrollment. The ELK 7TS communicates over the network through the M1XEP or C1M1 to the M1. ElkRP2 version 2.0.41 is the latest version.
August 6, 2024 at 1:04 pm #8263Tim StoinskiDoes it make a difference that my software does not say “ElkRP2”? It only shows “ElkRP”. It appears I can use everything else on the controller except the stay/away buttons, so it must be connected to the M1. I just have no visibility of the 7TS in the ElkRP software. I can use my user code to arm/disarm (defaults to AWAY). I can view my zones and toggle them to bypass, too.
August 6, 2024 at 3:51 pm #8267Brad WeeksMake sure the M1 is running Firmware 5.3.30 and the M1XEP is at 2.0.48 or later . Under Globals G29 – G42 check to make sure all six of the Serial Port 0 Transmission options are checked and sent to the M1
August 7, 2024 at 10:43 pm #8272Tim StoinskiFirmware on the the M1 is 5.3.30. I am using a C1M1 LTEV (not M1XEP), and it is running application version 0.1.19. Under Globals G29-42, I did not have event log checked, but it is now. Buttons still not working on 7TS.

August 22, 2024 at 11:30 pm #8306Tim StoinskiAfter a factory reset of the 7TS, I was able to manually configure it and the buttons now work. Next, I need to know that I have the latest ELKRP2 software, because the 7TS does not show up under keypads in my account settings, therefore, I cannot customize the screens. I am on 2.0.41 of the ELKRP2, and I cannot see in ELKRP2 that I have the most current C1M1 version.
August 23, 2024 at 8:18 am #8307Brad WeeksThe latest ElkRP2 version is 2.0.41. The New ELK 7TS Touch Screen is a WiFi device and does not connect to the M1’s Data Bus. The ELK 7TS is not considered a keypad, does not take up one of the M1 Keypad locations and will not show up under the Bus Module Enrollment
