ELK-7TS Static Sound Before and after Notifications

Another ELK-7TS issue. The keypad emits an annoying static sound before and after every notification such as a chime.To me it sounds like the sound files the keypad calls for are low quality wav files which have recorded space before and after them.

There is also a quite noticeable audio delay between the chimes on a fixed keypad (almost instant) and the ELK-7TS (delayed and always after the fixed keypad)

Any fixes to those issues?

What is the Network interface the M1XEP or the C1M1? If you click the Menu Icon in the upper left corner, click Installer Settings, are there any Updates Available? If so please update the 7TS and retest.

It’s a C1m1. I’m not showing any updates available. Version 1.0.398 Build 182 Firmware 2.0.14. I’ve had two of these installed. Both behaved in the same way.
